Lol, I hate making "controversial" statements that inevitably make people feel bad, but it is what it is. Dragon Ball Super is like episode 10 of Fast & Furious. The whole thing makes no sense and is horrendous writing... These people went from being ghetto, hood street racing thugs who stole VCRs in Honda Civics...to the most elite, most clandestine unit in the entire arsenal of the U.S. government who fight submarines in Dodge Chargers and go to space... it makes no sense. You literally have to intentionally kill your own brain cells to enjoy the franchise now and put aside all writing, story, or character development. Dragon Ball Z stopped making all sense after Namek. That is a fact. You could say you enjoyed the androids, Cell or Buu. That doesnt take away from the fact that it makes no sense. Dragon Ball Super took it a step further. It basically character assassinated Goku by turning him into a moron 24/7. If you watch the Saiyan arc vs. Super, it feels like the Super Goku is 5 years old in maturity, and the Saiyan arc Goku is a grown man. At this point, the writers know that no matter how shitty of a job they do, the fan base will eat it up and buy their products so long as the graphics are "cool" and there are explosions. It's actually sad as a fan of the series to see what shit it is now compared to what it was.

The little Z-FIghter that can do big things. Krillin is truly one of the unsung heroes of the Dragon Ball mythos. Plus, having 18 as his wife he's the most blessed character in the series. This is top notch Krillin Appreciation right here!

Qaaman, I respect your opinion wholeheartedly! For me, DragonBall Z Kai holds a special place in my heart because the Nicktoons run of the show was my first exposure to the franchise. I was 9 years old when the Saiyan Saga aired, and I’ll never forget the first clip I ever saw was the moment Goku saved Gohan and Krillin from Nappa’s attack. The power emanating from this spiky haired orange wearing dude captivated me and I was hooked. My cousin had already planted seeds about DragonBall by talking about his own past with watching it on Cartoon Network and buying the action figures. He drew me a picture of Vegetto to go along with his story. I watch the uncut version of Kai and read the manga now, but I’ll never forget these moments of my life because they introduced me to Toriyama’s wonderful world of creativity. May he rest in peace 🕊️

Kid Buu was actually the real Majin Buu. Fat Buu was really one of the Supreme Kais absorbed by Majin Buu so he adopted the child-like, carefree personality that the Kai had.

Also low power levels in db are pretty confusing, you need a power level of i think 80 to destroy a mountain but a power level of 130 to destroy the moon, less then twice the power levels you need to be mountain level, thankfully it got fixed as we go more and more into dbz but in OG dragon ball having a power level of 55 put’s you far above a guy with a power level of 50, just to show how the saiyan’s made a type of power scaling so big and overwhelming for the weak just to flex their strength

Instead of a whole arc I genuinely think the first part of the saga would’ve been an amazing short OVA series that either ends with Gohan learning his lesson about slacking or with Buu’s defeat being through Vegeta’s sacrifice.

1. There's no proof that the Gohan inside of Buu is as strong as the real Gohan(referring to the filler scene where Goku beat Gohan while inside of Buu) 2. Gohan's energy being inside the spirit bomb and Kid Buu pushing it back does not upscale Kid Buu. Only the potency of the spirit bomb is affected by the energy inside, the force pushing it towards Kid Buu was only Goku's strength alone.

The funny part is on Namek, Vegeta was actually closer to Super Sayian than he thought he was while he was bluffing, and effectively went False Super Sayian for a few second before Frieza's fear of The Tale of The Legendary Super Sayian kicked in and he immediately attacked Vegeta and killed him.

Future trunks has a bag, he is able to use a sword well (he legit can slice shit compared to yamcha who was a sword dude) And also created the burning attack along with the heat dome attack that is literally made to oneshot cell.

Vegeta was at 500,000 when frieza first arrived and overall, rage boost will give vegeta the edge because literally forms matter but so does the bullshit of rage boost that will make vegeta somehow 4,500,000 at base to go owgaaa monkey golden mode at frieza and basically bully frieza to death and also toriyama wanted to write the super saiyan is the one that kills frieza so regardless frieza is gonna die some way or another even if its dumb, vegeta will even win by farting at frieza because the narrative was that frieza will regardless be defeated.

This is an interestingly positive perspective. A lot of good points are made. Story-wise as you said, it brought about redemption for some characters. As far as my common sense goes, buus power regressing and Gohan being left out of the picture are hard for me to let go. Just feels like Toriyama built up the situation a certain way and then just changed his mind multiple times. I also have always liked fat buu as an antagonist because he felt like an old school Toriyama character that was wacky and funny. Juxtapose that with his initially murderous and evil ways and he's just as unpredictable as kid buu and maybe more interesting because fat buu does have the intellect to present that contrast. Cool video! I enjoyed the buu arc regardless and you made me think about the good points kid buu did bring to the table.

It took Vegito, A FUSION of Goku and Vegeta, to beat Buuhan whereas Goku SSJ3 alone and Kid Buu were evenly matched. The same SSJ3 Goku was getting mocked by Buutenks, who’s weaker than Buuhan. Goku was terrified of even having to fight regular Super Buu but had the confidence to say that he would’ve been able to obliterate Kid Buu if he fought him with SSJ3 from the start, also the same Goku who didn’t dare to challenge Super Buu. And, as the final argument, do y’all remember (Good) Fat Buu? Yes, the same Fat Buu who was embarassed by Evil Buu (the gray one). Well, that Fat Buu, who was NOT as powerful as he was when he was released from the ball (at the time, he had Evil Buu inside him) managed to give Kid Buu a heck of a fight, so that says a lot on its own. The arguments like “BuT tHe eLdEr kAi!1!1!”, “BuT tHe sPiRit bOmB!1!1”, “bUt hE iS tHe FinAL viLLaiN!1!1!” are ALL invalid, because one was both a confirmed translation error and a filler episode, the other is neglected by the fact that Kid Buu was able to push the Spirit Bomb back ONLY because Goku didn’t have any power left to push it on him, the reason behind the third wish granted by Shenron (or else why tf would he want his energy restored?) and the last one is simply dumb, because he is not the final villain, he’s THE ORIGINAL one, which is waaay different. Kid Buu was the most dangerous one only due to him being batshit crazy, not power wise. So, the FINAL VERDICT: Buuhan > Buutenks > Buuccolo > Super Buu > Fat Buu > Evil Buu > Kid Buu > Good Buu. END. 2 min in Im confused so I think trunks in the unseen timeline getting the shut off switch from Bulma the android are gone or super vegeta takes care of the rest and trunks leave before vegeta kills cell later or som, then he goes back to his timeline and uses the switch because just like the main future trunks timeline it doesn't make sense for cell to beat trunks if trunks is already near perfect cell level, so then he dies from cell and cell goes back a year earlier which brings him to a different timeline past where things differ and future trunks finds out abd prevents another cell killing him.

It is dubious if Battle Powers scale linearly until the later hundreds given Piccolo with a few hundred was able to vaporize the Moon which cannot divide clearly into a regular human even hundreds of times weaker (would need to be thousands of times).

I think vegeta would outlast frieza just because he is a skilled fighter just like goku, he surely was weaker than goku but he was surely more skilled in fighting than Frieza if their power levels were matched he would have won most certainly.

The Buu saga introduced fusion, Super Saiyan 3 & Ultimate Gohan only for all that to be absorbed into Buu. In the end, what kills the evil buu? A SPIRIT BOMB. That trope of "if fusion fails then use the spirit bomb" was used for Omega Shenron & Merged Zamasu
